Tekla Plug-In Enhancements with BIMReview and STRUMIS

STRUMIS are pleased to announce the release of a series of enhancements to the already market leading Tekla plug-in for use in conjunction with BIMReview and STRUMIS.
STRUMIS are pleased to announce the release of a series of enhancements to the already market leading Tekla plug-in for use in conjunction with BIMReview and STRUMIS. These enhancements being:
- Split bolts into individual components.
This is a selectable option within the Tekla plug-in that allows users to separate bolts, nuts and washers into separate items. This creates separate selectable pieces of geometry within the created BIMReview model, and also more comprehensive detail when importing into STRUMIS.
- Inch mark in profile names recognition.
When employing the "Show Inch Mark in Profile Names” option within Tekla, the change to profile names which occurs as a result of using this option will be reflected within any subsequently run BIMReview models.
- Consolidation of plate profiles.
If the user has exported a model with equivalent plate profile sizes (e.g. 200x10 & 10x200), then these plate sizes will be consolidated into a single size. The size used will be the first size that BIMReview encountered.
